MOSCOW - Russia's fish catch will be increased to 3.65 mln tonnes in 2009, First Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov told representatives of the country's fishing industry.
"Already this year we plan to boost the fish catch to 3.65 mln tonnes and increase its share on the domestic market to 70 percent," he said. "To fulfil this task it is necessary to create conditions to satisfy the domestic market's demand and more effectively resolve the issues of import replacement," Zubkov said.
